Resources for Bereavement for the Loss of a Child

If you are visiting this page because you or a relative or friend has lost a child, please accept our sincere sympathy and a promise of prayer.  We are indeed sorry for your loss.

We hope that some of the people, organizations and other resources listed on the resource page will help you as you make this journey through grief.  The majority of the programs listed have to do with bereavement of the loss of a child through miscarriage or stillbirth.  There is another page with resources for post-abortion healing.

In the Charlottesville area, you can contact Kathleen Olowin through Church of the Incarnation.  The office phone number is 434-973-4381.  Periodically they host a workshop gathering women or couples who have lost a child.  After the workshop there is a Memorial Mass.  Also contact Kathleen if you are interested in expanding this ministry into your area.
