Vocations Events Around the Diocese

The Vocations Office sponsors a number of opportunities to explore vocations and discern God’s voice. These events take place in various regions of the diocese. Please check our Vocation Home page often to get updated information and/or sign up to receive e-mail or US Post updates.

Prayer Partners

Our Prayer Partners are vital members of the vocations community in the diocese. They come from all over and have made a commitment to pray regularly for an increase in vocations. Many have taken their roles beyond simply praying. They have also actively supported our seminarians in their studies with cards and other periodic contact. They also receive correspondence from the Vocations Office to keep them aware of vocations news and give them suggestions for prayer. Fill out the contact form to become a prayer partner.

Men's Discernment Dinners

For men of college age and older, these are evenings of free food and conversation centered around a particular aspect of vocations to priesthood and religious life. The evening begins with evening prayer and dinner at 6 p.m., followed by about an hour’s discussion. In each region, there are generally  four sessions between September and May.  Please contact the Vocation's Office for more information.
