Feb 11 - 13, 2010 ~ Men's Discernment Weekend Retreat at Theological College in Washington, DC.  Please contact the Office of Vocations for more information.

Feb. 18, Feb. 25, March 4. March 11, March 24 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on all dates.   The Little Sisters of the Poor Lectio Divina open to young people (male and female) ages 17 – 35.  Thursday program begins at 6:00 by serving residents in the dining room, joining them at table and having lectio and Eucharistic Adoration.  Lectio Divina is a traditional practice of prayer with sacred scripture.  Please contact Sr. Joseph Marie at 804-873-3363 or email vocrichmond@littlesistersofthepoor.org to RSVP or for more information.

~ Blessing of the Runners Pre-Race Worship Service and Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10K Race
Want to start this year’s Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k Race with a little Divine Assistance?  If so, please join us for an ecumenical worship service and Blessing of the Runners which will take place at 7:30 AM on race day.  This brief worship service will take place at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, which faces Monroe Park - just steps away from the starting line for the 10K race. All are invited to attend! For more information, contact the Office of Vocations at 359-5661. This may be your one chance to wear your running shoes and shorts to church!

April 9 - 10, 2010 ~ 25 Hours of Silence Adult Retreat at Roslyn Retreat Center, Richmond, VA.  In the midst of our busy, noisy, crazy lives, it is sometimes difficult to hear the voice of God, and it is often difficult to listen to our own heart. If you feel called to listen more attentively to Christ, then this is the retreat for you! Join us for our SILENT RETREAT at the Roslyn Retreat Center. Participants are asked to shut off all of their cell phones, iPods and computers. They are asked to refrain from talking. They will be asked to create an interior and exterior silence, so that they can listen to the voice of the Lord in new ways. The retreat will be led by Fr. Michael Renninger and other priests of the Diocese of Richmond. June 25 - 27, 2010 ~ Youth Retreat for High School Guys - (Rising 10th grade thru graduating 12th grade): 
This retreat is not just for those who have thought about a vocation of priestly service in the Church. It is for every high school guy who wants to grow in his relationship with Christ. It is for every young man who wants God to guide him as he follows Christ into the future.  Retreat sessions will focus on living what we pray and experiencing God in Prayer, Word and Sacrament, the Church, and Relationships.  The retreat will be held at Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center.  Please Join Us.   ***SAVE THE DATE ON YOUR CALENDAR NOW***
