“What Happened at Vatican II” Thursday February 4th
Father John O’Malley is a University Professor in the Theology Department at Georgetown University. He is a specialist in the religious culture of early modern Europe. Father O’Malley has written and edited numerous works, received countless awards, and has lectured around the world. It is a rare opportunity to hear his lectures! The lecture is open to the entire community and begins at 7pm in the Cathedral Sanctuary with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Tickets are on sale in the Cathedral Offices. The Diocese of Richmond Pastoral Center will host "Foundations for BeFriender Ministry", a workshop designed for leaders who want to implement and maintain a listening ministry of lay pastoral care in their parishes.
