The twin goals of the diocesan TARGET are to:
(1) educate parishioners about Catholic social teaching andBelow is the TARGET program's covenant agreement and a summary of benefits to participating parishes.
(2) raise additional funds for three of the church's social ministries -- the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), diocesan Respect Life Fund, and Catholic Relief Services.Basically, the diocese will provide free educational and resource materials in exchange for a parish promoting the corresponding collection and providing educational programs on Catholic social teaching.
