The Office of Justice & Peace (OJP) falls under the umbrella of Commonwealth Catholic Charities and provides support and information to parishes on social justice issues within the Diocese of Richmond and global community. OJP works to form collabroative relationships with parishes to promote a comprehensive understanding of Catholic social teaching and its practical application in responsible action for the common good. OPJ's focus areas include: Catholic social teaching; respect life; Haiti ministry and global solidarity; migrant ministry and domestic poverty; prison ministry and southwest Virginia ministries.
