Conferences:

In February, there is an annual National Social Ministry Gathering held in Washington, DC that is convened by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and other national Catholic social ministry organizations.  To learn more about this annual program, you can visit the website of the USCCB’s Department of Social Development and World at http://www.usccb.org/sdwp/ or the Roundtable website at http://www.nplc.org/roundtable/.  Registration information is published in the fall on both websites.

In July, the Roundtable -- along with some other national Catholic sponsoring organizations -- holds a Social Action Summer Institute at various locations around the country.  There is usually a three day segment with two choices of in-depth courses and a few additional days of workshops.  You can attend one independently of the other or attend the whole institute.  The Summer Institute program is usually published in the spring.  You can find out more information about the summer institute by visiting the website of the Roundtable at http://www.nplc.org/roundtable/.
