2010 Diocesan Courses for Spanish-Speaking Parish Leaders: Please see the course brochure in Spanish and a course description , enrolment and registration information in English. Please note that those taking individual courses only pay the course fee and not the general matriculation fee.   

The University of Dayton’s “La Comunidad Cibernética Para la Formación en la Fe (CCFF)”; now offers several 2010 online courses in Spanish.  The university has a partnership with the Diocese of Richmond, so courses are available at a reduced cost.  These courses may be considered for equivalency and integrated into the diocesan formation process in the future.  This information can also be accessed in English using the link located at the top right corner of the webpage.  

Workshops

Camino hacia Cristo - Pathways in Spanish for catechists:  
October 23, 2010 from 9:30am - 5pm at St. Mary Church in Richmond and second venue TBA.  This course will include instruction on: 1) The Vocation of the Catechist, 2) Use of Creed and Holy Scripture, and 3) Methodologies for adult, youth and child catechists.  This course is require for all catechists and leaders. Participants must be recommended by their pastors or appropriate contact designated by him. Adult catechists are strongly encouraged to complete the VIRTUS class and child/youth catechists are required to complete VIRTUS and take a background check.
