Office for Evangelization of Youth and Young Adults

Purpose: The office coordinates all activities relating to the evangelization of youth and young adults including campus ministry at community, four-year colleges and universities within the boundaries of the diocese. This office partners with parishes and schools to provide opportunities for engaging middle and high school youth, as well as young adults primarily in their late teens and twenties into the mission of the Catholic Church through community building, prayer and worship, justice and service, and educational opportunities. This office strives to provide meaningful opportunities to assist parishes and schools in growing adult volunteers and paid professionals, who work with this population, in areas of spirituality and age appropriate methodology based on Pope John Paul II’s vision of the New Evangelization.
