Position: Senior Pastoral Associate

Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Rocky Mount, VA is accepting applications for a Senior Pastoral Associate. This position is both a pastoral and administrative position, hired by the priest, who is pastor of more than one parish, to help manage the day to day activities and ministries at Francis of Assisi. These duties include oversight to staff, liturgical schedules, parish council and finance council, all ministries and facilities. The individual will report to the pastor assigned by the Bishop.
Qualifications: A successful candidate will have a Master's Degree in Theology or Pastoral Ministry or an equivalent level of knowledge, skills and abilities, and three to five years of pastoral ministry experience. Bilingual skills are required. This position requires that the individual be a practicing Catholic in good standing. The selected candidate is expected to begin work on September 1, 2009.
