The goal of this office is to facilitate the integration of the Hispanic and Anglo communities in the new multicultural reality of the diocesan church in Richmond, forming one body in Christ’s name.
Misión:
Su misión es la de apoyar a la comunidad hispana a través de la integración de programas y nuevas iniciativas bajo la metodología “Walking by Faith” – Caminando en la Fe. De esta manera, se desarrollará programas para entender mejor el evangelio (Palabra), renovar nuestra apreciación acerca de los sacramentos y de las devociones populares del pueblo hispano (Culto), reforzar mayor santidad en los matrimonios y familias (Comunidad) y, activar la participación en las parroquias y escuelas católicas (Servicio).
Our mission is to support the Hispanic community through the integration of programs and new initiatives under the methodology of Walking by Faith. In this way, we will develop programs in order to better understand the gospel (Word), renew our appreciation of the sacraments and the popular devotions of the Hispanic people (Worship), reinforce holiness in marriages and families (Community), and encourage participation in the parishes and Catholic schools (Service).
