The resources includes a youth lesson plan (intended for high school students but can be adapted for younger or older audiences), a high school curriculum, prayers as well as other resources and statistics.

Just News is a publication of the Office of Justice and Peace for the Diocese of Richmond.  Each issue is devoted to a single topic.

There is an issue devoted to HIV/AIDS Ministry.

This website has a unit on HIV/AIDS as well as a Stations of the Cross highlighting the victims of this disease.  There are also prayer resources on the website.

This website is available by subscription and has many great resources.

This online tour takes people to Nyalakot, Uganda where the villagers live on less than $1 a day (it is a UK site so the amount given is 60 pence).  It is also a village which has been very much touched by AIDS, but where the health of people with HIV and AIDS is being addressed.

This annual event is meant to raise awareness about HIV infection among children around the world.  There are all sorts of educational materials for talking to students about HIV and AIDS,

Transformation Retreats is a program within the Diocese of Richmond which provides retreats for people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS and their caregivers.  They also provide retreats for incarcerated women living with HIV/AIDS.

All About HIV and AIDS is an extensive lesson plan for grades 6-8 about the disease.  The lesson explores the medical science of the disease, but also includes an exercise on empathy about loss. 

This site from Net Aid, sponsored by Mercy Corps, contains all sorts of resources for background and action.  One of the resources is a short video.
